WHERE STORIES TRAVEL & READERS GATHER

The Wandering Book Caravan is hitting the road. We’re bringing authors, independent booksellers, and book lovers together from across the U.S. for a traveling literary experience built around one thing:

Discovering your next favorite story.

Forget the idea of walking into a book event, looking at a few tables, and heading home. The Caravan is a chance to meet the people behind the books, discover new voices, shop directly from the authors and booksellers, talk about the stories you love, and connect with a community of people who can never resist buying “just one more book.”

AUTHORS ARE COMING WITH THEIR STORIES

Meet authors face-to-face. Browse their books. Ask about their characters and worlds. Discover independent writers you may never have encountered at your local bookstore. For authors, The Wandering Book Caravan is more than a table. It’s an opportunity to meet new readers, sell directly, build relationships, connect with other authors and booksellers, and grow alongside a traveling literary community. In-person events can create relationships and word-of-mouth that extend far beyond the day of the event.

FOR THE READERS

Come looking for something specific. Or come with absolutely no idea what you want. Either way, you’re likely to leave with a stack. Explore different genres, independent authors, booksellers, new releases, hidden gems, and stories you haven’t heard about yet. You might come for one book and leave having discovered an author you can’t wait to follow.

That’s the magic of the Caravan.

MORE THAN A BOOK MARKET

The Wandering Book Caravan is about the people as much as the books. Come meet other readers. Talk shop with authors. Discover new books. Make connections. Bring your book club. Bring your reading buddy. Bring someone who claims they “don’t need another book.” They’ll understand when you come home with five.

THE CARAVAN IS GROWING

The Wandering Book Caravan will travel to different cities, bringing new authors, booksellers, and literary communities together along the way.

• Different cities.

• Different stories.

• Different voices.

• One growing Caravan.

Hampton is one stop on the journey.
