Event Manager Opportunities

Help Bring Fandom Events to Life

Otaku Events is always looking for reliable and passionate individuals who want to help create unforgettable fandom experiences.

Our events bring together artists, vendors, cosplayers, gamers, and fans from across the community. Behind every successful event is a team that keeps things organized, welcoming, and running smoothly.

If you love anime, gaming, cosplay, and community events and enjoy working with people, this could be a great opportunity to get involved.

What Event Managers Do

Event managers help ensure our events run smoothly from start to finish.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Assisting with event setup and vendor check-in

  • Walking the event floor and checking in with vendors throughout the day

  • Helping coordinate activities and scheduled programming

  • Supporting guests, vendors, and attendees when questions arise

  • Communicating with the event organizer if any issues occur

Our goal is to create a positive experience for everyone involved, and event managers play a key role in making that happen.

Who This Is Perfect For

This opportunity is ideal for people who are:

  • Organized and dependable

  • Comfortable interacting with vendors and attendees

  • Passionate about fandom communities

  • Interested in learning more about how events and conventions are run

  • Able to stay attentive and proactive during busy events

Experience with events is helpful but not require. The most important qualities are reliability, communication, and a willingness to help.

Training & Opportunities

New managers may be asked to complete training at an event before taking on full management responsibilities.

Event managers may have opportunities to assist with multiple Otaku Events throughout the year and gain valuable experience in event coordination and community management.
